Our Mission
Aurora Light Refuge (ALR) is about light and love—God’s light and love.
In a world of major cities with mammoth skyscrapers seemingly trying to defy gravity and crawl all the way up to heaven—where those skyscrapers hold sometimes thousands of people scurrying to and fro, cellphones in hand, ever distracting them—Aurora Light Refuge is the antidote to the crawling, the scurrying, and the distraction!
Our goal—to love God with all that we are and to love our neighbor as ourselves—is simple!
God’s love and God’s light permeate all we do as we endeavor to be a refuge in this sometimes insane world.
A refuge where true healing can take place, where a self-sustaining, off-grid community is united in Jesus Christ!
A refuge where we can worship the one true God with all that we are, sharing everything as an Acts 2:42-47 community.
A refuge where the remnant can be held in the palm of Jesus’ hand as we prepare for His coming Kingdom!
We’re already praying for you—all you brothers and sisters in Christ—who will be called by God to call ALR home until we’re in heaven, our true home!
We can’t wait to hug and welcome you!

Worship: Worship is our fulcrum, our heartbeat!
